Dispatch/Delivery/GST/VAT Information

Orders placed prior to 3 pm on any business day (Australian Eastern Time) are dispatched the same day.  Orders placed after this time are dispatched the following business day.  We encourage customers to select a delivery option which includes tracking information as the loss of a parcel in transit is not covered.  Bronzewing Farm will, however, assist customers who find that they have a missing or lost shipment but we take no responsibility for the shipment once accepted by Australia Post.

Australian domestic:

Australian orders are shipped Australia Post.  We recommend the Express Post service as we have found the regular parcel service to be extremely unreliable - sometimes taking up to two weeks for a capital city delivery; however we give you the option, even though the cost difference is only a few dollars.

Within Express Post areas, delivery is the next day; outside that area, Australia Post estimate a 2-3 day delivery time for an Express Post parcel.

A tracking number will be provided which allows you to follow the parcel progress using the Australia Post website.  Note that it is important that you do track your parcel as we have seen instances where the parcel has been sitting at your local post office awaiting collection for 1-2 weeks.

International:

International orders are typically shipped standard airmail which has parcel tracking and typically takes 5-6 business days.  We recommend that international customers order larger pack sizes or multiple smaller packs to maximise product versus shipping costs.  Postage costs have cut-offs at 500 g, 1 kg, 1.5 kg, 2.0 kg etc, so if you order product that weighs (say) 600g when packed, then you can add another 200-300 g of product for the same shipping cost.  Note that the packed weight of products is given in brackets in the 'shipping cost' section of your order.

In some countries we offer 'economy' airmail.  Delivery time should only be a few days longer, however, be aware that there is no parcel tracking with this option which means fewer options for you and us if your parcel goes missing.

COVID-19 Update:  International customers should be sure to read our international shipping update entitled "COVID-19 International Postage Update" on the right-hand side of the blue bar above.

Taxes/Duties/GST/VAT/etc:

In Australia and some other countries (eg. UK), value-added or good and services taxes are 0% rated on our Tasmanian DEVIL Mountain Pepper, however, in other countries such taxes can have quite variable rates.  These taxes usually become payable at the port of entry, and hence you may be required to pay this tax, or in some cases an import duty.  In general, these taxes are not applied to small quantities for personal use...

Our peppermills and other products are usually GST/VAT taxable in all countries; for non-Australian orders, the Australian GST is removed from the price, but again, a VAT (or similar) may be applied by your customs department in your country.
